Do not park your cars here

At the end of 2022 I spent 3 days in Bangkok, Thailand. We crammed as much as we could into those three days, saw a lot of incredible, beautiful things, ate delicious food and walked a long way.

As we made our way around I was fascinated by the various ways people tried to prevent cars from parking in certain spots. Broken stools, specially purchased extendable barriers, some almost sculptural constructions: these are the devices I captured throughout that brief visit.

I’ve made a small zine featuring some of these images, ‘Do not park your cars here’, which is available to buy from my TRIVIAL MATTER shop (for those in the UK) or on Etsy (for those beyond the UK).
